Maya MacGuineas Weighs in on Fox News
Shortly after the Trump administration released the details of its new tax plan, Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget president Maya MacGuineas made an appearance on Fox News's Special Report with Bret Baier.
She discussed what the plan means for the national economy and responded to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin's claims that the plan will lower the debt.
"If you're going to come up with a plan that ultimately adds trillions of dollars to our already near-record levels of debt, that's going to turn out to be a really bad idea," MacGuineas told Baier.
