Internship – FixUS (Fall 2022)

Now accepting applications for Fall 2022. Interns will have the opportunity to work remotely until the COVID pandemic abates.

FixUS, an initiative of the nonpartisan, nonprofit Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, is dedicated to engaging Americans to better understand and address the root causes of the growing divisions, distrust, and dysfunction threatening our representative democracy. The FixUS initiative is looking for enthusiastic interns to join our team and provide invaluable assistance to a variety of research projects. Responsibilities will include researching and summarizing scholarly work and may also involve attending and summarizing events, developing content for FixUS social media channels, and assisting with polling and/or focus group efforts.

We welcome applications from highly motivated undergraduate or graduate students year-round, though interns typically work for one semester (Fall, Spring, or Summer). Interns may work full-time or part-time while attending classes. Interns work as full members of the FixUS team, attending meetings and working alongside full-time staff members.
